Love Feast

As members of the Church of the Brethren we try to be like Jesus.  One of the ways we do this is by being humble servants.  We display this attitude toward humble servanthood through washing one another’s feet.  For those unable to get down on their knees we have another way to demonstrate servanthood by washing of one another’s hands.  We invite you to join us in this practice that has been a part of the Church of the Brethren for over 300 years.

If you have never been a part of the Brethren Love Feast, Communion and feet washing, you are welcome to come and observe what we do.  Chairs will be set for those who wish only to observe the feet or hand washing.  You may join in the meal of lamb stew and observe the rest of the service.  We would be glad to have you here.  The worship service begins in the church sanctuary at 10:00 and moves to the fellowship hall at 11:45 for the Love Feast meal.
